What are Endangered Species?
An endangered species are animals who find it difficult to survive due to enviromental effects, such as habitat loss. There are many statuses of endangeredment:

Why is it important?
Plants and animals maintain the health of an ecosystem. When a species becomes endangered, it's a sign that an ecosystem is out of balance.
A world without animal life, no matter how well developed and technologically advanced, cannot be as great of a world as we have today.
